We are always looking for volunteers.
As a firefighter you will go through an extensive training program that teaches firefighting basics,
so that you are ready and can operate safely during incidents.
Being a firefighter is demanding and requires a great deal of dedication, hard work and attention to detail.
Our job is not as glorious as TV Shows and movies portrait it but we take pride
in what we do and how we do it.
So if you are ready to become one of us feel free to stop by our station on Mondays between 18:00 - 19:00 hours
or simply download an application and fax it to us.

Some of the entry requirements to be an active firefighter are:
- Physical Fitness
- “Clean” Background
- Ability to lift and carry objects of excessive weight
- Willingness to work in a team
- Willingness to execute tasks as assigned
- Willingness to maintain a certain activity status (participation in drills, monthly meetings and responding to calls, maintaining apparatus and facilities)
- Willingness to accept the fact that firefighting is an ultrahazardous, unavoidable dangerous activity
- Etc. etc.
Your application will be reviewed by the membership committee and somebody will get in touch with you.
