At 5:33 am, the West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department on a working apartment Fire in the 400 block of Winding Way. Ladder 6 responded immediately with a crew on station and was followed by Rescue 6 and Engine 6-2. Crews operated for just under 1 hour providing ventilation and ground ladders to the building.
