Today at 4:35 pm, the west Whiteland Fire company was dispatched to the 200 block of New St. for a fire alarm. The call was quickly mitigated. While clearing , the company was dispatched to assist Station 49(East Brandywine) on a house fire on Tradition Ln. A quick knock on the fire by the 49 crew led to the fire being placed under control.
