We cannot stress enough do not drive through flooded roadways! Heavy downpours caused flash flooding in the township.
The West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to 16 water rescues today and a total of 21 calls. Over 30 people were pulled from their vehicles. Happily there were no injuries to report.
A big thank you to Kennett Fire Company No. 1 and Lionville Fire Company for assisting with some of todays rescues. Also thank you to West Whiteland Township Police Department for your tireless efforts in assisting us today.
